![]() To make this simple to explain imagine on your screen you have a word printing label template of which consists of 4 labels. Top left Top right bottom left Bottom right. I print them out & the output seems backwards. Is this correct. So when I have a template loaded I can see the text needs to be on the 4th column along & 3 row down. I then print. Because it’s reversed sometimes the label has been used on the sheet so the ink is then printed on the backing. I’m trying to say if I look at the labels before I feed the printer its easy to look to see if the label is say 3 across & 2 down but then that isn’t the correct placement on the screen for where the text needs to be placed. You have to reverse it in the screen to make sure it’s printed where you just checked the label So is this correct ? Hope I explained it correctly. |

That suggests you're putting the stationary in 180° around to how it should be.

No
A new sheet of A4 paper with 4 labels. On Pc when I look at template label I place image top left. When the page is printed the paper comes out and image is bottom right. Im expecting image to be same location when out of printer. The issue is when using say a 21 label sheet & some labels have been used you have to do your homework first so you make sure to print on a label & not in a place where a label was used & removed |

You previously said:
If you're trying to use unused labels, you either have to rotate the sheet 180° so the new ones come out starting at the new top left, or you need to insert empty labels before the first one you want to print.

Don’t think your quite understanding my issue.
I’m saying the printed label isn’t in the same location once printed as in screen. With more labels in the sheet & some used / missing you then need to do your maths to print in correct label The output is reversed to what you see in the screen. When I get home I will show you. |

You need to pay more attention to how your printer prints. It is quite normal for printers to print from top to bottom, with the result that the the top of the page exits the printer first, i.e. it is reversed 180 degrees from what you see on screen.

So hence my post was me asking if what is happening is correct

Hence my saying that you need to pay attention to how your printer prints. Only you can determine if it is correct for your printer.
Observing how a normal document comes out of the printer will indicate to you which way round your sheet of labels needs to be loaded. |

And, it is not just how it comes out of the printer but how it is placed in the printer tray.
If you do not remember, take a plain sheet of paper and label the edges and corners on both sides. Note how you place the paper in the tray, write it on the piece of paper. Then print something on it that is in one particular location. I would have what is printed say what location it is in on the screen. Save that printed piece of paper as a future guide. |
