I have tried numerous sources to give me clear , simple instructions to achieve my goal. I cannot get anything that is clear or simple enough for me to understand.
My question is , for any text in a file, what are the series of instructions so as to move the text so that it appears in the centre of a sheet in Microsoft Word. Probably , I need some one to treat me as an idiot so that I may understand the instructions. ![]() |

Horizontal centre, or vertical centre?
To centre horizontally: select the text, go to the Home tab and click on the Center button in the Paragraph group, or use the shortcut Ctrl+E.
