Hi. After the last windows update, my toolsbar Fonts, Styles etc has gone. I have to click on Home to get a drop down tools bar now. Why do they mess with us with these updates.
What is stranger is Excel is not affected by this. |

Click on the Home tab to drop the ribbon down. On the right hand side you'll find a small down pointing arrow. Click on it to display the menu and set the ribbon behaviour.

That toolbar is called, in Word jargon, the "Ribbon."
This distinguishes it from the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT).
