Question How to enable checkboxes with the restriction option "No changes (Read only)"?

Hello.
I am using Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise. My Word document includes many fillable fields, such as legacy text form fields, legacy check box form fields, and signature.

When I set the "Editing restrictions" as "Filling in forms," signature is disabled.
Accordingly, I set the "Editing restrictions" as "No changes (Read only)" and enabled form fields individually. Then, I cannot select checkboxes to enable them!

Is it possible to enable legacy check box form fields when the document is protected with the editing restriction of "No changes (Read only)"??

Thank you!
Rakkoo
