Question Office 2021: The two lines of "Heading 1" created with "Shift + Enter" are not centered with respect
Office 2021: The two lines of "Heading 1" created with "Shift + Enter" are not centered with respect to each other.


I couldn't figure out why the two lines of "Heading 1" created with "Shift + Enter" are not centered with respect to each other.


How this issue can be fixed, thus to have the two lines centered?

The heading is included in Automatic numbering?
If so, the first line is obeying the indentation set for that. The second line is obeying a hanging indent for the paragraph?
Can't see your indent markers in the ruler.

Go to the multilevel list settings and remove the tab character that follows the number. Set the "Follow number with" option to "Nothing."
