Your attached document is set on A4 landscape paper with a half-page sized gutter, causing the view to appear as alternate left/right pages. There are no section breaks so no problem in manipulating it to any page setup you like.
From your question, I assume you need some guidance on what the Page Setup dialog does. Maybe you could start with the info on this page and then come back to ask specific questions if you can't figure something out. Although this is for more modern versions of Word, the dialog really hasn't changed since Word 97 so once you find how to get to the Page Setup dialog (from memory View>Page Setup), it is basically the same. Thanks for the offer but I've decided to do this manually. I have WORD 2007. I have just copied and pasted one file, and it turned out all right. This has been sitting on my hard disk for over two decades, so a few months more won't make any difference.
