The suggestions in that post work with all documents. They become more powerful the larger or more complex the document gets. I was responding to your note about the varying of the pagination.


Word never really figures out pagination until it is printing (or converting to pdf).


What you show seems to be a combination of M-dashes and non-breaking spaces (the little degree symbol). These are not hyphens.
