Default Deleting Blank Page Underneath a Table Not Happening

Hi everyone, I’m using Word as part of Office 365. I’ve read several web sites that supposedly have the solution to this problem. I’ve watched You Tube videos. Nothing has helped. I am hoping you can.

Quite simply, I have a blank page underneath a table that I cannot delete. I’m attaching a copy of the Word file.

I tried doing CTRL + G, then typing in /page and then close, then pressing the DELETE key. That didn’t help.

I tried going into the Navigation pane and selecting the blank page, then pressing DELETE. That didn’t help.

Am I correct in assuming these instruction don’t work because I have a table? If so, then what procedure can I try to get the extraneous page deleted?

Thank you very much. T. Hulot
