You have two continuous section breaks taking up space and adding complexity. Delete both of those section breaks and then change the page setup to one column (this will become apparent after you delete the second section break)



As a general principle, the LAST thing in a document must always be a paragraph mark so you can't end a document with a table. But if the table happens to end right down the bottom of a page, the trailing paragraph mark can be made very small to fit on the same page as the table.
