Word 2010 won't stop changing text to Times when pasting, no matter what I set as default
Word ( Office Professional 2010) on Windows 10 won't stop changing the last few lines of text in a paragraph to Times New Roman when pasting. This happens both within the same document & when pasting from other documents. This continues to occur no matter what I change the default font to ( currently Arial 12) & no matter what I click on or off in the advanced font dialogue box. What's really weird is that its only the last couple lines, not the whole paragraph. Any suggestions?

Is this happening when the last character is a paragraph mark?
Are you pasting into a table cell? Are you getting the same result if you Paste Special as text only? If you open Word in Safe Mode, do you see the same behaviour?

Often, the very last paragraph that you paste will be formatted in the Normal style, and the formatting of the Normal style may be different from what you want.
I would suggest that you re-apply the desired style and also modify the Normal style to suit the needs of your document.
