Unwanted page break after table
I have a multi-page document formatted in two columns. Later in the document I inserted a page-width table (formatted as a single column). The table occupies a little over half the page. In 'Draft View,' I see a "Section Break Continuous" immediately following the table. The immediately following portion of the document is formatted as two columns, but it insists on starting at the beginning of the next page. Nothing in 'Draft View' indicates a page break. What should I do to have the text following the table resume right below the table, in other words, not leave the bottom of the page blank? Thank you! |

I would get rid of the section breaks and set the table to have text wrapping (float it) so it is independent of the two column text flowing around it.

Thanks. The best I'm able to do is insert a page-width photo or screen grab of the table. I guess that'll have to do.

You can make the table float like a picture but still be an active table.
Change the table properties to have text wrap around it. |
