I'm having the same issue with frames: modify the Style, hit Format/Frames and "Remove Frame". Save. Update style to match selected. I can now "save as" and produce a PDF that doesn't have images in the place of the style I've modified; but if I go back to the Word document and revisit the style, the frames are there. I don't want to go through removing frames from every heading style (there are 9) every time I produce a PDF from it. Is there an option to turn these annoying frames off for the entire document or heading styles?
