How do I get readability statistics for a portion of a Word document? For instance, if I'm working on a multi-page document, but only want to stats for a particular paragraph (not the entire document), how do I do that? (I already know how to enable readability statistics and how to check the entire document.)

You need to use the legacy spell check dialog to handle only selected text.
