1: Does this happen all the time?
2: can other programs save data in the same locations?
3: What version of Word service pack is installed?
4: Are the workstations have standalone version of word or server side?
5: How many servers per/or domains are there?
6: Did you check all the permissions for each user and user group?
7: Steps you can taken so far..ect...
