![]() I use pleading paper which is a textbox on the left, that runs from the Bottom of the Header to the Top of the Footer. My current margins setting is 1.5 inches that applies to the Whole Document. The Court wants a different first page margin (2 inch margin). I go into Page Setup > Tab: Layout > Select checkbox Different first Page, the go to Tab:Margins and adjust the header to 2 inches. This appears to work as the header on the first page appears to be larger than on the second. However, my textbox on the left for the first page completely disappeared, and EITHER the textbox on the second page has moved, or the text has moved as it is Not now aligned with the textbox (pleading paper) numbers. Where am I going Wrong? THanks |

P.S. I am an attorney and have beet putting up with the vagaries of court formatting requirements for more than 40 years. |

Mr. Kenyon:
Thanks for responding. I read Ms. Barnhill writeup, but obviously I missed something. Will see if the other two links help. Regards, David |
