Repeating Sections Control Disappears
I'm working on a template that includes section 4, with a header and a table, all of which have a repeated section content control applied. The table itself also has a repeated section content control applied to the row.
When I first create a document from the template, section 4 has the + control for adding a section and I can click it as many times as I want to. However, once I navigate elsewhere in the document, then return to section 4, the + for the entire section is missing. The + for the table row in each duplicated section is still present and works as expected. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution? Thanks! |

I have not experienced the problem.
Here is Add, Map and Emplory as Repeating Section Content Control (RSCC) in Word 2013 by Greg Maxey which has the extent of my knowledge. He has a note at the bottom of that page about the inadequacy of Word's interface with nested and mapped repeating section content controls. I do not know that this is what you are dealing with. Could you attach a document with the problem here? You can remove any confidential or proprietary information. Attach a Sample File Demonstrating the Problem - Here's How |
