I use advanced find and replace a lot, and continue to be faced with the same problem. Large portions of text are selected when I only want one line for example.
For example is there anyway to make Advanced find and replace select only one tab ^9 or one paragraph mark ^13 within a find field? For example if I were to search for: \[\[(*)\]\] (*)^13 and the first line is [[help]] and the second line is [[john]] and the third line is [[dog]] cat Word will select all three lines, instead of just one. how would I make the coding select only the third line, skipping the first 3? Thank you so much in advance, this has been bothering me for years. |
