The style 'Body Text' is applied to all three paragraphs. That style is set to 'Automatically Update' so that when you make a change to the formatting of any paragraphs using that style, it changes the style definition and hence ripples that change through all other instances in the document.



You should generally turn this setting off for every style except when it is a wanted behaviour. I find it useful on TOC styles but not on any other styles.
