Hello to all. My backspace key is not working in Word 2003. It works in all other applications. When I press Backspace, nothing happens. Ctrl+Backspace works to back-delete a whole word, and oddly, Shift+Backspace works the way Backspace should. But Backspace alone does nothing.





When I go into Customize > Keyboard, when I hit the Backspace key in the "Press new shortcut key" box, nothing shows up, as if the key were not being recognized. But Ctrl+Backspace and Shift+Backspace are recognized.


Does anyone have any ideas? I'd be happy to provide any info you might need.
