I had 7-Zip and another similar app on my previous XP Pro. Neither one ever worked. In the past it took the zip file to the 'extract' stage, then nothing. I could install it on my current Win 7 Pro, but I don't see how much has changed...if I failed to get it to install zip files on XP Pro, I don't see how I would have any better luck now.
