I have a long document which is a converted file. Some paras are broken. How do I do a search in Word 2007 to find paras which begin with a lower case letter preceded by a para mark ie ^p
Thank you |

You need what's called a wildcard search. In the search and replace dialogue, click on More and check the Use wildcards box on the left.
From the MVPS site: You can use ranges of characters in exactly the same way as with [ ], thus [!A-Z] will find everything except upper case letters. Thus, with ^p and this, you should be able to find lower case paragraph openings. Last edited by Ulodesk; 10-19-2010 at 06:42 AM. Reason: Typo |
