Default How to create a file that gets updated with information from “source” files

Good evening everybody,

I hope you are well.

I know that you can use fields to retrieve the data contained in bookmarks from other books and add them to the destination file. However, when you add extra data to bookmark section, this extra data does not get reflected in the destination file. I guess it is because each time you add data to the source file you also have to re – define the bookmark content to include this new data?

Would it be possible to retrieve data from headings rather than from bookmarks?
Perhaps the best solution is by using some coding?

Thanks
Sanchez
