Hi, BigSur,

It seems like you maybe confused the concept of the Heading style a bit.

Your main headings (1.0, 2.0, 3.0, etc.) should ALL have the Style "Heading 1." It's a level number, not a sequential number. It looks like you did Heading 2 for 2.1, Heading 3 for 3.1, etc. By the time you get below heading 3, your standard TOC won't pull it in, and even if it does, it stair-steps each one down a level, and likely shifts to the right one.

Simply apply Heading 1 to all your main headings, and 2 to your lower level headings, and you should be good. You don't seem to have any level 3 headings, like 6.14.

Also if you want, you can adjust the TOC to pull in varying levels. Yours is set to "show levels: 3" meaning it will pull in heading levels 1, 2, and 3. To edit this, hover your mouse over anywhere on your TOC, go to the References tab, Table of Contents dropdown on the far left, and choose Custom Table of Contents. You'll see the Show Levels setting on the first screen. If you click through both the Options and Modify buttons, you'll see you can customize further -- but for your purposes you shouldn't have to after you reset your heading styles.

Also, it looks like you have 6.0 as TERMS AND CONDITIONS in all caps, but in the TOC it's lower case. If you've been applying all caps as an Effect, you'll need to do that also to the TOC level 1 style to get all caps there.

Best of luck,

Ann
