Hey !
I have to hand in my thesis soon so it's quite urgent. Basically in the table of content automatically generated by my documents (which if formated afterward to suit my needs) I can't find how so reduce the size of the space between the number of the chapter and the name of the chapter. And for every level of the table of content. I surrounded in red the space I'm talking about in a linked screenshot I tried to dig in the formating for the table of content but I am defeated. Plz send help |

You can change the Tab settings in the TOC 1 and TOC 2 styles.
Try putting your insertion point in the problem entry in the TOC. Move the relevant tab setting in the Ruler. |

Generally speaking, just moving the tab-stop position for a given TOC entry via the Ruler is sufficient to cause all TOC entries at the corresponding heading level to update.

If you set up your TOC styles to cascade, then a change in one level can cascade to lower levels. |
