Default Help with track changes

A coworker is working on a document that was sent to him by someone else in Word. As he was typing in the document, it changed the document to a read only document.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

If you try to save it, Word should give you the 'Save As' dialog box. I would save it as the same name but put 1 on the end. Then go into Windows Explorer, delete the original and rename the latest one to take off the '1'.

Or, can you simply select all (Ctrl+A) and copy and paste the contents into a new document and save that one?

Hope that helps,

Matt
