Are you aware of the referencing tools available within Word?
Reference Tab Insert citation If you are using Endnotes, you could change the Endnote Reference Style to blue. Attached is a document with both an APA citation and an Endnote. |

It's usually when I have external supporting information or source on the topic which further expands on the topic. So instead putting the links in text. It's neater to just add nicely visible numbered hyperlink in-text to a reference which is at the end of the document. I don't opt for cross references for this purpose, as it it too manual just for a quick reference when an endnote could do this. How do you change the colour of the endnote (of the in-text number really). All I could find in the options was the style of numbering. But did not see options regarding font size and colour. Probably did not look in the right place. |
