Repair conversion error
Greeting to all members, I am working with word 2007 and recently tried to open a document that I had previously saved which contains my hours of work , But while opening the document it says File conversion Select the encoding that makes the document readable. Text encoding and gives three options but neither of them works. Can anybody provide any solution or suggestions on how to repair that file? Looking forward to a reply.

If you still have the original file, work with copies. If you do not mind sharing it, post a copy here. How to attach a screenshot or file in this forum.
This likely indicates some form of document corruption. Is your document in .doc or .docx format?

I am very grateful for the reply charles.. I have the document both in .docx and .doc formats. Sorry, that I could not upload the file because I don't have the authority to do so.
