Comments now outside of the document
Hi folks,
A couple of my users contacted me today to ask why their comments are no longer showing inside the balloon space with the edits. Instead the comment bubbles are now completely outside the document (see attached). Is this an upgrade? (defined as a fix to a problem which inconvenienced a few and now annoys many) Is there a way to revert back to the previous display? Thanks, Beej

You are seeing the so-called modern comments; for more, have a look at Using modern comments in Word. The comments will still print in the Markup area and they will appear in the Markup area if you preview the document via File > Print.
