I was supposed to attach the image (it's blurry)of the header and footer of the document I'm working on.
The "First Page Footer Section 9" has page 29. In the next page, the header/footer says "Footer Section 9". The page number of this page should be 30, but the number is 4. I checked the Link to Previous. What causes the "Footer Section 9" to shift from "First Page Footer Section 9?" The document is 113 pages long. The pages with "First Page Footer Section..." give the correct pages but in between them are pages with "Footer Section...." and these pages break the correct page numbering.

I finally straightened the broken page numbers by starting from the last page going up, linking all pages to previous until I reached the TOC page.
I could not open the links you provided Charles.
