Hey there,
I'm making something like a quality survey. There are some questions and option buttons from 1 to 5 (1 so bad, 5 perfect). I want to send this word to some people and I prefer them not to be able to edit nothing more. I have tried saving with "Filling in forms" editing restriction. I send the document to other machine and it opens as protected view (nothing can be edited, good for now). The problem is that there is another warning blocking the edition of the option buttons: "SECURITY ALERT - Part of the active content has been disabled". This alert shows just after "enabling editing", and till you do not "enable content" you will not be able to edit the option buttons in order to answer the survey. At this point, you are already able to accidentally edit the document... Thanks. |

You are probably using ActiveX option buttons which are legacy controls that you should be avoiding if possible.
Try using Content Controls instead.

If you want only one to be picked, you could use a drop-down Content Control instead.
