I have just - for the first time - "combined" / "merged" two documents, and saved the result under a new name.
But now I have loaded that file, and almost all the text is blue underlined i.e. Links to the original ! How do I get rid of that ? I just want a "normal" document. Pretty please ? |

What you are seeing is text with revisions (not links). As Charles wrote, you can accept the changes via Review > Accept > Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.
