Windows 7 64bit Word 2018 not showing style count

Word 2018 not showing style count

I need to find out how many times a style has been used so that I can delete unused ones. When I open up the drop down stle selection and right click on a style I get

Select all (No data)
Remove all (No data)

When that style is definatly in use.

What is wrong?
