I noticed recently that there is small difference when setting tabs in MS Word using the ruler. I have Office 365 and this is a small change from my previous versions of Office.
In my prior versions of Office (2010, 2013), you could merely click inside the ruler and this would set a tab in your document. With Word 365, if you double-click directly on the ruler itself, the Page Setup window pops up. I found, quite by accident, that if I click immediately above the white space between the document and the ruler, but slightly below the ruler, you can set the tab. If you double-click, you set the tab and the tab window opens. Regards, Steve |
