How to view margins

I had set up the margins of my file very long time ago and even different margins for left or right pages. But I forgot how much they were and now I want to know them. Where can I see exactly how much margins I have for both my left and right pages?

Wit a document open, click the Page Layout tab > Margins > Custom margins > Margins.
. . . . or Page Layout tab > Page Setup > Margins.

For both my left and right pages the inside and outside margins are the same (I use MS word 2007 and i do not have left or right, I only have inside and outside) so it means the inside and outside alternates according to left and right pages?

When the "Mirror margins" option has been activated for the document, you'll see "Inside" and "Outside" instead of "Left" and "Right" margins in the Page Setup dialog box.

Note that you will also have to consider the value for "Gutter" which adds extra space for binding.
