Within a Word Docx, I have created a customized outline to help organize a large non-fiction book. As I scan through the outline to add new points and references I want to be able to make certain levels more easily seen without using huge fonts.
I have tried working with Styles, creating and managing styles, and every time I go back to the list the paragraph spacing fails to reproduce when I create a new line at that level. Is there a command somewhere that can free up numbered lists to accept paragraph spacing changes and reproduce them perpetually for that level? Or, is there a more sane work-around than trying and failing in Styles? Is it possible to import a document template with the capabilities already inherent? Just feel this should be simpler and easier. Thank you for any and all help. |
