Thank you Charles. I am aware of F12 (Save As) and ctrl-F12 (Open). What I overlooked is this: if I simply select "File", I get the list I seek, as I wish it to be. But if I THEN click Open or Save As, I get all the timing stuff that I don't want. So for me, whenever I wish to open a file on which I've already worked, I simply choose File, not File > Open.
Again, thank you. Your reply prompted me to look again, to see differently. I appreciate that. |
