I've got a word document which is a form meant for me to fill out - for my school.
Online. Not with paper and pen. It has little boxes on it: checkboxes. How to put a check mark in them? Lots of hits when I google and none of them answer that question. |

How do you know they are true checkboxes?

You can substitute Checkbox Content Controls for them. Those can be checked with a click.
If the ones you have are legacy form checkboxes, the file should be locked or restricted to filling in forms, in which case the checkboxes will work but many other things will not. |
