I would like the document I'm working on to come right to the top of the MS Word screen.
At the moment there's thick band of menu bars - I count 6 rows - between the top of the page and the top of the Word screen. This is because I am often working off some other program which has a display I'm reading. so I try to set up a sort of 'split screen', split horizontally, so's I can look at my source material at the top half of the split screen and then write in the Word screen in the bottom half of the 'split screen'. You'd think putting them the other way around - with Word on the top half and the other thing on the bottom - would solve the problem but it doesn't, I'm not quite sure why but it just doesn't work out for me. So: can I do this? |
