Problem copy/pasting internet articles to Word 2016

How do I stop Word 2016 from inserting bullets and/or numbered lists to an internet article I copy/paste to Word?
I don't know why Word adds bulleted and numbered lists to articles that have either no bullets and numbered lists or have some but word adds it's own in front of the ones in the article and on other paragraphs.



Also, to add more problems, in the past few days every time I try to fix Word's added bullets and/or numbered lists to pasted internet articles, by my clicking on the list icons in the ribbon my Word 2016 goes crazy and ends up disconnecting and restarting Word (sometimes it restarts) and closes all my documents that I had open. Then when word restarts, the documents come back in the autosave area for me to click to open again. I'm so disgusted with this.

When you paste into Word, are you choosing to paste special as Unformatted Text?
