Click in the page that you want to be on. The scroll bar moves your view. It does not change the insertion point. |

Regards to: Microsoft Word 365 automatically Scrolls
I have tried that and it is effective maybe for short documents. The documents I work with are very lengthy, sometimes hundreds of pages, and it will not give you the chance to put the cursor on the new page before it quickly scrolls back. You see it for less than one second and there is no time to click the cursor on the new page before it scrolls back to the original spot. Rich |

I tried that with the shorter document and it still scrolls back to the original page without letting you click on where you wanted to go.
