			It is a non-printing formatting mark indicating an end-of-cell in a table. You cannot get rid of it unless you delete the cell itself.

			Every table cell has at least one paragraph and the last paragraph in every table cell is terminated by an ASCII 13 & 07 character pair represented as ¤ (Other paragraphs are terminated by an ASCII 13 & 10 character pair represented as ¶).
