I keep having this issue every now and then and don't know why.


I have ms word for Mac 2016... I purchased a standalone version.

today again, I could not open any word doc.
when I clicked info, said file was not there.
yet I know it is! I could open with preview but not textedit.

I ended up doing a force quit ms word and it seemed to work.

I just wonder what is going on with this and why is it happening.
