Hi,
I have seen older threads about macro codes for changing text case, however none of the codes I try enable this to work with tracked changes being recorded. If I had this sentence: ThE Quick BRown fOx jUmps over The lazy dOg And, having selected that specific line, I wanted a macro that would enable me to affect the capital words ONLY, and make them lowercase. And then, too, have this edit be recorded/visible in tracked changes. Would this be possible? Anyone know a code that might handle that? |

See, for example: https://www.msofficeforums.com/word-...ased-user.html, especially posts 8 & 10 in that thread.

I found an old thread that discusses this oddity.
Why don't "Change Case" edits show during "Track Changes" | Microsoft Office Forums The suggested workaround solution was to keep two copies of the document (a before and after version) and then compare documents to see the tracked changes. It would be possible to code a solution more localised than that document-level workaround but it sounds like a fair bit of work for not much in the way of perceived value.
