![]() Using for the time being Nisus Writer Pro -- let us not go into why -- I am commenting on the draft of a novel written in MS Word (Version 16.42). I send my commented draft back to the writer, as a precaution in both RTF and .DOC. She is unable to see my comments in either format. Why might that be ? |

I don't think there would be too many users on this forum with much experience on that software. Editing files across different applications is fraught with problems but that doesn't mean there won't be a solution available - you just need to find someone, somewhere in the world that has done what you are trying to do.
You will probably need to ask that question on a Nisus Writer Pro forum or perhaps on a Mac-specific site where people may be more likely to have experience in Nisus.

Thank you for coming to my help. I have put the question in the Nisus forum, where the moderator checked my commented file in his MS Word, and found that Word had no difficulty in seeing the comments. Also, other of the writers that use MS Word and for whom I have done editing in this way have been able to read the Nisus comments. That led me to suspect that the answer lies perhaps in changing the settings in Word.
