Using for the time being Nisus Writer Pro -- let us not go into why -- I am commenting on the draft of a novel written in MS Word (Version 16.42). I send my commented draft back to the writer, as a precaution in both RTF and .DOC. She is unable to see my comments in either format. Why might that be ?
