Hi all. First off, this is a question about Office 2019 in case it matters.
I'm blanking out on how to do this; been away from Word for a couple of years. I want to create a custom number style that precedes with the section number it's in and is appended by "." then a basic numeral counter: [numbered-heading number].[basic number] And of course I'd like this to work with any level of numbered heading. I cannot remember if this kind of thing is done using a formula or by some other way. Attached is an illustration of what I want to achieve: . |
