Thank you Guessed (again).
The paths I gave in my question were for the 2 metconv.log files. There is only one metconv.txt file. It is a huge file at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Smart Tag (I'm not sure what "Smart Tag" is). Which files should I make read only? All 3? I'm just a regular Windows enduser. How do I access the file attributes in Windows to make them "read only"?
