Hi there,
I would like to avoid designing an entire new theme myself. Instead, I would like to buy/download a more modern looking them than the ones that shipped with Word 2013. Hopefully a theme which makes use of my favorite font, Segoe UI. Does anyone know where I can perhaps buy alternative (good quality) themes for Word 2013? Thanks in Advance. |

I know of no one selling Word Themes. You can find a library of themes on Doug Robbins page: Word Themes - OneDrive
You can use the Themes Sampler from my downloads page to see what different themes look like. Take one that you like and simply modify the Theme Fonts. |

Super, thanks very much Charles! Word seems to have already come with all Doug Robbin's themes. But your sampler template really helped in picking a few I liked. Here are my top 3, the most elegant / clean (to me):"
(*) Office (calibri 11) clean (*) Metropolitan (calibr 11 - light) clean (*) Parallax (Carbel 11) clean |

Again, once you have one where you like the look, you can change the theme font. Then save it as a custom theme.
Also, pay attention to the [Quick] Style Sets which make up the bulk of the Design tab. Those are the styles changed by themes and they can also be modified. This is because they all use theme fonts and theme colors. Word 2007 and 2010 had themes that were discontinued with Word 2013. I would recommend downloading them all and checking them out. |
