The print hidden text will print the XE fields but not all field codes.
Under Tools>Options there is an option to print field codes instead of their values. This will change the appearance and pagination of your document. You can also press Alt+F9 to display field codes instead of results. When displayed, those will print. This is a toggle setting, remember to toggle it back.
