Strange dots in the footnote section
When I create a footnote in the Page Layout view, I get weird dots above the footnote text (see attachment). I can delete the dot in front of the text, but cannot bring the cursor to any of the dots above. Can someone show me how these dots can be removed and prevented in the future? I don't see these dots in the Web or draft view.
I am using Word 2007. Can't upgrade because new Office doesn't support color in high contrast mode. Thanks a lot.
